Sungold Field Days 2017

12 February 2017

Sungold Field Days is a unique opportunity to advertise and display goods and services for the dairy farming and cattle breeding markets. This three-day event is held each February opposite the Warrnambool Cheese and Butter Factory (WBC) at Allansford, about 12 km east of Warrnambool on the Great Ocean Road. Sungold Field Days is a highly successful occasion for dairy farmers and exhibitors alike, showcasing the dairy industry to the wider community.

The Cheese World marquee was a popular exhibit featuring a cooking demonstration stage with different chefs preparing dishes showcasing local dairy products over the three days. David Mellor WCB cheese grader also shared his cheese making knowledge and showed how to put together the perfect cheese platter. Visitors were offered tasty samples and recipe sheets at the end of each presentation.

Cheese World staff members were on hand offering cheese tasting and advice on purchasing the right cheese for every occasion. Field Day special prices were offered providing excellent bargains.

Cheese World Marketing and Promotions Coordinator Kim Kavanagh and Deb McLean, Cheese World cheese sales assistant, set up a magnificent display featuring farm themed giftware and cheese accessories from the range on sale at Cheese World. They also served up hundreds of delicious milkshakes made with fresh local Sungold Milk.

Kim Kavanagh said “the Field Days provide an excellent opportunity to promote our attraction and the company’s products to the many thousands of visitors who travel from near and far to attend the event”.
