Kid's Fun Day

25 January 2017

Cheese World is holding a Kid’s Fun Day on Wednesday January 25th 2017 with lots of free activities for kids to have fun discovering all about the dairy industry.

There will be free face painting, dairy themed craft activities, Museum demonstrations and quizzes, a vintage car display and yummy cheese tasting all between 10.30am and 2.30pm.

Deakin University trainee teachers will be volunteering their time to assist the children with the craft activities making farm animal puppets and fun things from milk cartons. Free show bags containing dairy themed stickers and tattoos will be available for every child to decorate and take home.

A quiz will take the children around the Museum to discover what rural life was like in the olden days. Museum volunteers with many years of experience working and living in our local community will explain and demonstrate the collection items.

The children and their families will be offered a free taste of the Warrnambool cheeses that are manufactured right across the road by the Warrnambool Cheese & Butter Factory.

Cheese World Café will be serving snacks and light lunches at family prices including our famous Sungold milkshakes.
